Meet Magento UK is back!

Hello and welcome to the edition of the Hussey Coding blog
that we have been waiting to write ALL YEAR!

It's official, the wait is over my friends! As of today you can purchase your early bird tickets for Meet Magento UK 2020!

For those of you who have been with us for a while you will all know about MMUK from our pre conference coverage of MMUK19 but just in case you are new to the scene let me fill you in on all you need to know about ...

Last year we had a great time at Meet Magento UK, we got to meet some interesting people, listen and learn from some amazing speakers in the Magento community, enjoyed some great food (and coffee) and most importantly, we got a lot of free 'swag'!

MMUK brings together members from all over the Magento community, whether you have been working on or using Magento since the beginning or you are just starting your eCommerce adventure using the platform this is a great place to be!
Divided up into 2 tracks, Technical and Merchant, last years MMUK saw 22 speakers from around the world and across the board come and share their incredible wealth of knowledge with us all, everything from optimising your retail performance to managing complex agency relationships, hints and tips on how to manage a development team effectively to the latest Magento innovations in the world of PWA and much, much more!

But that's not all, not only did we get to hear these speakers and learn from them in a formal setting, we got to meet them, talk to them, ask them questions outside of the seminar time which only goes to strengthen Magento's boast to having the worlds greatest community, an example of this is that we personally got to speak with David Deppner, John Hughes, Antonija Tadic, Philip Jackson and the main man himself, Jamie Huskisson, people who were all willing to just chat, hang out and enjoy the day alongside us as part of the Magento community.

Backed by over 20 sponsors such as PayPal, Sonassi, Trustpilot, Barclaycard and Google, the MMUK'19 sponsors marketplace was a hive of activity, a room full of stalls with eager company representatives ready to help with what ever questions you had, no sales pitch, no crazy eyes following you around the room waiting to pounce, just great, friendly people on stalls filled with information and a whole ton of free stuff just asking to be put into our tote bags that we were given as we arrived.

This years MMUK returns to the Mermaid in London on June the 17th and like we said, early bird tickets go on sale TODAY! we'll pop a link to the site below where you can buy your tickets but also catch up on a whole lot of last years content! You're able to listen to last years talks (though they are password protected and so you will need to sign up to have access), you'll be able to look through the gallery of what has to be close to 1,000 pictures of last years event (if you look closely, you'll be able to spot some dashing young men sporting Hussey Coding t-shirts in there), and the site also includes interviews, links to their blog and the websites of last years sponsors.

If you have any involvement with Magento either as a merchant, developer or content creator then we highly recommend you get your hands on a ticket as soon as possible! Meet Magento UK'19 was an amazing experience and we are certainly looking forward to attending again this year, not just for the free 'swag', the amazing coffee or the chance to have our pictures taken in our brand new Developer Connection t-shirts but to be a part of the community, to learn from people with more knowledge and different experiences to us and hopefully give back to the community in sharing our knowledge and experience with others, so what are you waiting for? Head on over to uk.meet-magento.com now to book your tickets and take advantage of the early bird offer.

Thank you as always for supporting us here at Hussey Coding by reading this blog, if you would like to learn more about Meet Magento UK '20 then stick with us as we will be covering the conference like last year and filling you in on all you need to know about the speakers, venue and other details as soon as they are released but until then stay safe and have a great day.
