Katie Hempenius brings with her almost a decade of software engineering experience having worked for Commonwealth Computer Research Inc (CCRi), Hint Health and Fitbit. She currently works for a small up and coming company called Google, you may have heard of them.
Performance budgeting is just like any other kind of budget, if you want to get a new car, you need to budget your finances to be able to afford it, if you want to lose weight, you may need to budget your calorie intake and so on.
When you budget your site or stores performance you are looking at what you can do to make it faster, because speed is key for your site, did you know that around 40% of visitors will leave your site if it takes longer than 3-4seconds to load? of course getting it to be fast is one thing, keeping it fast is another.
Who's this seminar for?
Whether you are just starting out or have been in e-commerce for years, being able to get and keep your store at peek performance is essential. This seminar is for you if you find your load speeds are too slow, if you have too much stuff on your pages but aren't sure what to keep or what to be rid of and if you just want to hear some great tips on how to keep your already speedy site fast!
