Evolved Caching 1.5.0 Released

We have just released Evolved Caching 1.5.0, and this release adds several great new features to the extension.  Version 1.3.9 added automatic cache warming, which recreates the cache for your product, category and cms pages when you save them, this release adds 3 new features.  The first is cache viewing.  This adds an extra column to the Full Page Cache Entries admin page with a link you can click to open the cached page contents in a new browser window, so what you see here is exactly the same as the customer sees.

The second feature that has been added is a choice of cache warming strategy.  You may now pick between cache being warmed immediately on save, or via cron after a maximum of 5 minutes in the case of the immediate option impacting save times.

Finally the third added feature is cache locking.  This allows you to retain the full page cache when clearing the standard cache using the 'Flush Magento Cache' button under Cache Management - useful if you want to clear the standard Magento cache but don't want to lose the full page cache.
