Evolved Caching 1.3.9 Released

Evolved Caching 1.3.9 has just been released, marking the addition of another highly useful feature.  Version 1.3.0 added the incredibly useful Full Page Cache Entries management area where you can see, and visually manage your full page cache entries.  This release expands on the earlier feature of automatic cache clearing with the addition of automatic cache warming.

This feature allows you to automatically rebuild cache entries that have been cleared with automatic cache clearing when saving a product, category or cms page.  The process is intelligent and respects your caching strategy, so only cache entries which actually exist and have not expired will be rebuilt.  This means that if you are using APC or Memcached storage and have set the cache to expire, then only valid, current pages will be refreshed and you won't be recreating old expired pages which could push more relevant, current entries out of the cache.

The automatic cache clearing feature means that you don't have to worry about customers seeing expired cache pages, and the addition of automatic cache warming now means that they will always see a super fast, cached page, even after you have made changes.

You can read about the full capabilities of Evolved Caching including in depth usage and full benchmarks here.

The extension is compatible with Magento 1.4 and above.  You can view all Hussey Coding extensions including this one on Magento Connect, and you can purchase Evolved Caching here.
